The Birdfeeder Project

This family project began by accident. This winter, we created pincone birdfeders with our kids as a holiday craft. Once we began to see our backyard birds show up on deck, we had to keep putting feed out. My third grade daughter began asking us what kind of bird is that, so we dug out an old bird identification book. Now we are all hooked on watching our backyard birds -- even our cats! Our goal is to watch, photograph, identify, and learn about the birds in our backyard.
